The Niu Crusoe

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We received excellent customer service (especially by Vinicius), check-in was prompt and seamless, and the rooms were spotless. The Niu is modern and stylish, with very comfortable bedding and pillows. The breakfast buffet has a very wide assortment of quality options, which was very impressive. I would very much suggest choosing to eat at the hotel before catching your flight - it is infinitely cheaper and delicious. The hotel is conveniently located only a short distance from the Bremen airport terminal. We walked it with four large suitcases and had zero issues. Thank you for hospitality and for providing quality service. Keep up the great work!

Location wise it is literally next to the airport. Yet the rooms are very quiet. So for someone availing the airport, it is actually perfect. The rooms are well decorated and clean. Although I would love to have a mini fridge at my disposal. And as for someone who stayed there over a week, any workout facilities would be perfect. Still for the price the package was actually ok.

The hotel is just around the corner of the airport and of the target of my trip. The tram station is also in a 5 minute walking distance so it takes you 15-20 minutes to reach the center of Bremen. The room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned. The beds were perfect for sleeping (not too soft) and the breakfast room offered different options so everybody finds something there. A good hotel for a short trip to Bremen!

I chose this hotel knowing that it is quite new and modern, but it seems that I did not inform myself very well initially. Right now, when I'm writing this review, I have got accomodated in this hotel and I'm thinking with horror how I'll spend 5 nights here...!? The cooling/heating system of the room cannot be turned off at all. So it is always on and has that specific fan noise, which bothers me terribly, especially when I sleep. I adjusted the thermostat one by one to the "+", "0" and "-" position and it still didn't stop even if I disconnected the access card from the central unit of the room. I sleep very easily and wake up at any noise. For the attention of those who are very sensitive to noise during sleep, you will not have a restful sleep here because the fan is permanently functional and there is no possibility to turn it off. I informed the reception staff about this problem and they did not identify any solution..., but I found it, I will never come back here.

We stayed at the niu Crusoe hotel in Bremen for one night from 05.08.23 to 06.08.2023. The standard of the hotel did not meet our expectations based on the price and advertisement for the hotel. First off, there was no information in the mail or during online booking about the paid parking, and once we got there the parking was full. There was also little information about alternative parking, and we ended up parking a kilometer away, and had to walk in the rain. The first encounter with the receptionist was not inviting. We received little to no information about our stay and the check in took an unnecessarily long time. Our second encounter with the same receptionist, we were completely ignored for 15 minutes, until another came and helped us. In general, none of the receptionist were particularly welcoming. After a shower, we noticed that one of the towels was dirty. It had stains that looked like blood. The shower door could not be sealed properly, so water poured out onto the bathroom floor and exceeded into the hallway. Otherwise, the bathroom was great. First impressions of the room was that it was clean and tidy. The hotel should maybe consider adding something comfortable to sit on. The pillows were awful, with barely any stuffing. The sheets were coarse/rough material. We paid for breakfast but regretted it immensely. Terrible coffee. There were little to no lean protein sources, the only clean protein source was eggs, but they were stale and overcooked. Mostly they served sugary treats, and unhealthy, non tasty options. We sent an email to the niu Crusoe informing them of our concerns, and to give them a chance to respond prior to the review being posted. They chose not to answer. Hope this is helpful.
